Today was just not my day.

I got my new REAL DEAL drilled/tipped a few weeks ago and the last time I went w/ the pops I tore my middle finger on the side a bit from pushing my finger down a lil bit too far (my other ball has larger tips so I would insert up to the joint easily).

So this week I put my less on my fingers and only put my fingers partially into the tips (in a more natural but loose feel) and holy crap my hook to a big turn.  I went from shooting a medium hook and hitting the pocket like normal (But with more strain on my fingers) to throwing the ball with a much sharper hook and when I would throw from my same point I normally do the ball would take a wicked last second run and smash the pins on the brooklyn side.  

I just, for the life of me, couldn't find my mark like that today.  I know its a much better throw because its easier on my fingers, and I get a nice solid throw form it, but because I was used to a smaller hook at the end I couldn't get my position right.  

Toward the end of the day I was getting it under control, but couldn't find that 'perfect position.

I hope next week is different.  I have a feeling it'll be a much nicer ball when I find my comfortable shot with it.  I do have to say I have improved a LOT on releasing the ball because my old ball I would throw it and it would 'clunk' down and you could hear it drop and now with the way I'm throwing this 'Real Deal' its almost a pure silent release.  SO thats good.

Okay... I'm rambling.  I'm tired.  Its sleepy time...lol.
