I'm in the market for a new ball, and I wonder if a ball like this even exists.  I'd like something that I would feel comfortable pulling out of the bag in almost any condition.  Of course I don't expect it to perform at top shape in any condition, but something that I could have some success with, as I can't afford to buy 2 or 3 balls at this time.  Right now I have these three balls:  Ebonite Trimax (blue and green ball, I use this 98% of the time) Ebonite Apex Addiction (I almost NEVER use this, as it just doesn't seem to come off my hand the right way) and a Hammer Sling Blade.  (This last I need to get looked at for sure, it was the first "hook" ball I got (fingertip) and doesn't seem to fit my hand any more.)  I also have an old Red Hammer that I'm thinking of getting plugged and drilled for fingertip, as it was my first ball and drilled conventional.  As far as my game goes, I'll do my best to describe how I bowl.  I like to play in the track, right around 10 and just get it down and in.  I can also play an outside line around 5 if the need arises or move all the way inside for a tight shot.  I prefer 8-10 though.  I am a tweener and throw a medium rev ball.  I wish I had more specifics to give you guys on this, but I just plain don't.  I've been bowling almost 3 years and carry an average of 165.  I am also getting lessons about once a month.

So, any ideas of what I could use to replace the Trimax as my main ball?  I just can't seem to get it to do "enough" for me anymore.  For a time it was great as I learned to throw a hook, but now I feel like the ball is just lacking.  If I could throw the Addiction, I probably would, but like I said it just never felt right.  Perhaps I need to get that looked at as well, see if maybe I need different inserts or something, I don't know.  I am really open to any manufacturer, but I have the most experience and faith in Hammer or Ebonite.  Many people have recommended Storm products, but my coach is the one who is soft on them.  (He used to bowl ONLY Storm himself, but lost his faith in them at some point. )

Here are some of the balls I've been looking at.  Ebonite V-2 Clean, Ebonite Big Time, Hammer Big or Real Deal or High Rev, or something from Bruswick Inferno line (not sure which).  Again, I'm open to nearly anything, hopefully someone here can give me some good insight.
