Thank you Savage Pearl
« on: June 13, 2003, 06:49:38 AM »
Tonight I drilled up a Savage Pearl about 15 minutes before league started. I wasn't sure if I was going to throw it or not. I threw it in practice and it rolled great and hit like a truck. My first game I go 202 (open in 7th...10 pin!....and then open in 10th!...7 pin!!!) I was little bummed but got over it next game I go clean 219 was threwing it well. All I wanted to do was shoot a 231 so I could get 650, because my goals this summer are shoot a 250, a 650, and average 190+. Start out w/ front 6. 7th Frame throw worst shot of night I don't no how only the 4 pin was left standing. Then I leave 6-10 covered it. Strike, Strike, cover 10 pin for a 257! In one night with a brand new outa of the box ball I get 2 of my goals for the whole summer shot 257 and shot 676 series (both being my high game and series). Also now I am averaging 192 so I am on my way to all of my goals.

Nice bowling, Thomas889.  I am sure it was not all the ball.  The bowler must have had some hand in it. (groan).

Justin, Thank you very much. I read that you shot your 300, I be that was a rush. I was excited when I started with front 6 because i know then I would get it. Once my head deflates back to normal size now I be ready to bowl again. The Savage was a beast though. I am now using the Savage Pearl over the V2 at this house. Carried light htis like a dream and was just an overall great ball to throw at this house.Nothin can replace the good ole V2 but 676 out fo the box with this ball was great. I am hoping for that first 700 soon.

Great shooting, always glad to hear when someone shoots their personal best.  Of course now that you hit all your goals early, you are going to have to set higher ones for the rest of the season.

Only reason I come back year after year.  You never know when the magic will strike.

700 isn't very far away.

Keep up the good work.

I missed a 7 pin in the 10th! Come On! What if I did hit it who knows maybe it wouldn't of gave me that extra push to shoot better those other games.
