Look in the "others" section and you will find several threads for Motiv bowling balls along with a few reviews as well.

hope you didnt want it to make a big move downlane

Was hoping for a move period.  However, I'm going to try it at a different house as well, because this house has some oil.

These are NOT big hooking balls but more control balls and great for the finesse type of bowler.  The guy that can roll the ball rather than looking for a big backend of your next hook in the box ball to come out.

BTM's total hook has these both at 46 and 47.

Ive seen the TX1 in use for the 1st time in use tonight during leauges. I wasnt all that impressed with what I saw in overall hook. Since the guy that owns this odd looking ball is a friend of mine I asked if I could roll it for the 3rd game. Expecting he would say "yeah go ahead knock yourself out" he handed over the ball. He was getting the ball to move maybe 15 boards total. 15 to 10 back to the pocket (right handed). I was getting the ball to move just a few boards more and this was a 4.5x3 right handed drilling so its not a weak layout. I also found that the ball wasnt to forgiving on pin carry.

Id like to see what this ball can do with some surface adjustments though.

i really like my TX-1, its drilled pretty strong, but is not jumpy at all, a very smooth predictable arc into the pocket, and it just destroys the pins.  I'm going to try taking the polish off and leaving it at 1000 abralon next week and see what it does then, but as of now, it does what it was made for, works well on most tournament and sport shots.  Shot 670 on the 2007 Open shot last weekend

Mike,

Since, I've drilled both the SX1 and TX1 I feel qualified to answer here.  Case in point last Monday on a little over what I would term medium THS with more oil across the lane than some houses and around 39' on 5 yr old Bruns Anvilane.

My buddy who got a Virtual Gravity drilled pretty much maxed out shot 495 because he was bound and determined to use that new ball (new ballitis).  Boy does it move though so much so that for many on the worng lane condition it moves too much and is iffy off the spot with the wrong layout.  And I shoot 685 with my SX1 and TX1 that are controllable and come off the spot in readable fashion.

They aren't impressive like the VG but is it about how much the ball hooks off the spot or the score?

i don't understand why every ball has to hook alot I mean more oftent han not i am looking to hook my stuff less not more. Who cares how many boards it covers as long as it gets the angle to saw the pins out that is all I care.

Thanks for all the info on this ball guys! Much appreciated! But I'm not like all other guys looking for a big hooking ball. It's all about control for me. And it sounds like the type of ball I'm actually looking for.
