Howdy Ya'll. I'm a newbee to the site, so sorry if this topic has been posted before. I read an article a while back that was talking about how the 300 game isnt really meaningful anymore. At least, not like it used to be. For some reason I get this bowling magazine in the mail, and in the back it has a list of people who have bowled a 300 since the last issue and it definately takes up a couple pages (some of these KIDS are 13-14). I have a friend who just turned 15 and says he's gotten 2. I, myself, have not even come close to a 300. My high is 210 and I can't seem to get more then a 4 bagger. Why has the game become easy to "master?" You don't get a 300 from luck, you gotta be doing something right. What can be done to possibly make it more difficult so that the 300 is what it used to be?

Please use english when you answer. If you use a bowling term, briefly explain for those (me) that might not know what it means. Thanks for those that read and possibly reply. Peace

I have not hit that great score yet either. The past year and a half I have felt extremely confident that it will happen, and have come extremely closs numerous times. I have never gotten more than the first 6 however, I usually end up getting tapped. About a month ago I shot a 279, had the first three, then left a solid 4 pin, this ball wasn't high, it was flush, but bam...there is the 4 pin. Last week...first 6, then left a stone 9...

My point...it may be getting easier...but it still takes a LOT of luck, IMO

Florida State will be back...as soon as Chris Rix learns how to throw a spiral, use an alarm clock, learn wear to park,  and hang on to the ball...but they will be back.
