Title: The 7-10...

There was a post that asked the hardest split anyone has picked up, and there were a lot of people that said the 7-10. How did you do it? I know there are only so many ways you can pick it up, but what did ya'll do? Was it complete luck or did you know what you were doing?

I dont know about the 7-10 I would say hard and straight at the right of the 10 pin (righty, urs opposite u damm wrongsider) BUT I was bowling with that kid andy I know the other night and I picked up the 6-7-10

AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

It's basically luck in that even if you throw the ball 40 m.p.h. at the pin it still has to bounce out just right.

That being said...a local bowler picked up two 7-10 splits during a county tournament within a span of an hour!!!!  Wish I was there to see it...way to go Bruiser!!

I picked mine (7-10 split)up back in December I just threw my plastic spare ball at the 10 pin and it bounced back across to take the 7.

WHat I did personally, was I threw a 10-pin, but I hit it really light on the left side, I threw the ball pretty hard, and the pin hit the side, hit the mat at the back, came back on the pin deck and spun around to hit the 7...

skill = 1/10 (for making the, but hitting it light)
luck  = 9/10

obviously, It was all luck... and in a practice game....
