For me the best bang for the buck ball was the Columbia Burst and Outburst....The Outburst could handle just about any tournament shot and was priced very low.

planet series from rotogrip, and the vibe series from hammer.

it's not that i threw the most honor scores with them, but they where such great consistant balls for the money, and they didn't wear down, i got rid of them before i had to replace them.  that's getting bang for your money

Storm HotRod back in 2002 / 2003 was a awesome ball for 130$

Storm Tropical Heat orange / purple ball was pretty good for 130$   crazy amount of backend for the price..

Right now, using track I love my 300 series stuff...  300T, 300c pearl, 300c solid, all of them are sneaky strong as i say...  I mean i could probably take just those 3 balls with me to any house and still bowl pretty well...

Was- I had good luck with the scout,c300. Then a few years ago the freeze came out & wow is all I can say. Right now would have to vote shatter by rg.

I mentioned the Cyclone earlier, and I think it's the best bang for the buck for the majority of players, but for me personally it has to be the Dynothane Energy.  I bought it on close out for $60 shipped and have used it almost exclusively for about 5 years.  It still looks and rolls the same as it did when I first got it.  --  JohnP

My old Hy-Nek Magic.  Spent $35 on it including drilling, shipping, and the ball... covered so many 10 pins with it.... lol  Gotta love cheap ebay hard rubber

Most every entry-level from the major brands - most any of them are $75 or so, and perfectly suited to most house shots.

I get more mileage out of my Slingshot than any other single ball...on burned up lanes or a dry house, it's got no equal.

Tropical Heat Indigo Blue Solid!  Awesome.

RotoGrip Rising Star(now replaced by the prettier Wrecker).  Superb!

Finally the StrikeKing is such an upgrade from the SlingShot if you like a punch to the pocket.  It is unreal good!
