Hey guys. I'm compiling this list of the balls used to shoot 900 for my upcoming bowling podcast series that I'll be launching this summer. I have most of them off of memory of press releases, video footage, and witness/player accounts.
If anyone has the rest of these or 100% positive corrections to the list, please add them. Ones I am not 100% sure of I have listed a (?) beside it. Ones I have left alone have 100% confirmation. Thanks.

The previous poster was incorrect about Kammer Jr. The article shows that he did it with a Raw Hammer Jacked.

There is an (L) by the names of those who are lefty

Why do two bowlers have the same number in brackets? I thought it was supposed to represent the bowler number in the list but not sure now. Unbracketed number is age and (R)ight or (L)eft in parentheses.

I copied and pasted the list from Wikipedia. I'm not sure what the bracketed numbers mean.

Ah, okay. Looked it up on Wikipedia and those numbers are just news reference links so they really shouldn't be in this post as without the links they don't mean anything.

There are actually 2 that were shot in the PBA even though neither recognize it....
-
Duke and McCordic?
-
Bolles was first and then Duke
-
Bolles was first and then Duke
Dave Bolles 900 wasn't a three game set. It was games 2, 3, and 4 of five games. Used an AMF Angle to do it.
-
It was 3 games crossing 2 pairs and no practice....I don't care what sequence it was...
-
And it was the last 3 games of 8 in match play to win the tournament coming back from 150 pins out
-
I might be mistaken on the sequence, you are probably right. I'm not discounting the achievement by any means.
-
You are incorrect...it was the last 3 games of the tournament which was 2-8 game blocks of match play...he was abt 150 out of the lead...
-
Didn't I just say you might be right about it? Relax dude.
-
Bill Howell's was with a Virtual Energy
-
I think jimmy s. shot 900 with the original virtual gravity.
-
Joe Scarborough Used IQ Tour pearl, at least in the last three shots.
-
I believe Robby is in Reno right now, but I will try and get it.. I am 95% certain it was a Storm ball.
-
Nevermind, I found it on Storms website Robby Portalatin, Jackson, Mich., Dec. 28, 2000 (Storm El Nino Goldâ„¢)
-
Cool guys, thanks for helping me complete the list.

Although not recognized as a 900 series, my good friend Tommy Gollick shot three 300 games in games 2 through 4 of a four game set in May 2010 setting the record of 47 strikes in a row. He split for a 9 fill in the first frame of game one and struck out for the night. The orb of choice on that evening was the Storm Invasion.
I'm looking forward to the podcast. Please let us know when it is available.
