THE DREAM CAMP
« on: July 11, 2009, 05:32:22 PM »
I haven't seen anyone bring up the Dream Camp on this site before so I figured I will seeing how I just got back. This is deffinatly the greatest teaching and knowledge experience I have ever had for my game. Tommy Jones, Jason Couch , Doug Kent, Dino Castillo,Chris Barnes and the unknown addition of Bill O'neil is incredible. The help with your game, how to play the patterns, layout your equipment and the surfaces to use is unrivaled especially for the five PBA patterns we focused on. Not to mention the one on one time with Mark Baker and his video analysis of your game is incredible. The stuff he sees solutions he comes up with to help you, makes big improvements to anyone's game. The price seems a little hefty but for what you get it is well worth it 3 new balls, sst 6s or etonics, 2 Bowling shirts, a vise slim tote, DVD analysis of yourself by them, lineage paid for and the opportunity to win an extra ball or two plus all the knowledge and experience they bring to the table makes you the real winner in that deal. So I just wanted to say thanks Mark Baker and the rest of the guys and good luck in the upcoming season.

Most likely the balls are ether given to Baker free or they are given to him real cheap. So the balls add value to the attendee but they really don't cost that much to the clinic otherwise I am sure they would have an opt out option.

I think the standard rate for a bowling pro appearance is $1500 per day. for me to fly in and do one of my 3 day clinics cost me about $1200 in just air fare, hotel and rental car. I try to keep the price low ($350 per person) just so more people can afford it.

Just think what it would cost to bring in a few golf pros.

Bowl great!

Hello Ron,

That is he main reason we opted to make the balls an option this allows us to focus on the importance of the coaching. And also Kudos to you and your work your articles in Bowling this Month are enjoyable and very informative.
