Ok, my son has purchased a new ball and was getting rid of his EBONITE GAMETIME. We found someone to give it to, so that was not the problem. When I took it in to plug the holes, I realized that the PIN was raised about 1/8" above the surface of the ball. Now, is this going to be a problem?
The person we are giving it to does not throw a hook, we are trying to teach him and figured a free ball and some lessons would help him. But I want to know if the raised pin is going to hurt anything and what would cause it to raise?

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.
STRIKE ZONE & PYRO. STAND 15 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND SMASH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...
