Here are some exerpts:
Joe Antenore, PBA Commissioner "And I fully expect that in the 1990's, maybe early in the new decade, a male pro bowler will earn more than $500,000.00 in prize money"
Dick Evans, Journalist, Past President Bowling Writers Association of America "I Think the high scoring problems willbe solved."
John Falzone, LPBT President "You'll see the women pros on national network TV more often, there will be some big national sponsors coming into the fold - and the LPBT will catch the PBA in prize money awarded. And someone outside the bowling industry will come up with a finish that does not require lane conditioning."
There were quite a few more statements as well. Glad I have kept back issues of many bowling publications. Interesting to see past predictions and statements.
