Although I'm sitting for the bar exam the following Tuesday and Wednesday, let me see if I can talk the wife into coming.  It's only about a 5 hour drive for us, and I can study during the drive.

I have several balls that haven't been drilled yet, and my wife has one ball yet to be drilled.  If there is someone around there that can give us a discount on the price of drilling, perhaps I can convince her that the savings will offset the cost of the trip.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Looking forward to it. Everything is ready. And, just so you know what
you may be in for with the twins here they are....

The Chaos Twins

They can not be contained. Maybe there should be an extra bowling handicap
for twin interference? Actually, they are usually happy and well
behaved.

Ron has us sign in with our real name an user name.  Lanes are set aside for us, so when you stop at the desk and say you are a part of the BR Invasion, you are pointed in the right direction.  We also introduce ourselves to eachother.  I always tell my screen name first.  After they get done laughing, I tell them the real name.

We did have name tags one year with the screen and real names.

I wondered that last year as well. Just come on in, jump on a lane, and everyone will introduce themselves to you.  Except for maybe a couple of the shy/shier ones (isn't "shier" a strange word?  At least, it looks strange) who will get pulled into the overall melee.

Last year we discussed doing name tags this year. All we need is some sticky-sided paper and a felt tip pen.

What day are you planning to arrive? I'll wear my
Geek. t-shirt so everyone knows who and what I am

Shannon and I will be arriving Wednesday evening. Not sure what time yet, as we plan on killing some time in the mountains on the way down. I would not expect to meet up with the group until Thursday.

I think name tags are a great idea.

I'll update.

I am pretty sure I have some name tags around, I tried to use them the first day of class several years ago.  I'll bring them with me and leave them at the desk.

Tonight will be a good test of the knee.  I bowl the Petersen.  I have been taking my leagues off and resting the knee.  It feels a lot better, but still not 100%.  LL you're not the only one preparing excuses

Hey Everybody,
I am really excited about everyone coming this year. We are going to have some special breakfast items Sat AM. and as always Scotch Doubles Fri PM.  If anyone needs a partner let me know so I can start looking.  Hate to hear that some people aren't going to make it this year. Just remember any time you are in the area stop in. Ron is still working on bringing me out of my shyness.  Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I'm going to be there Friday morning (or early afternoon) .. just this morning my wife started backing out of the trip. Her feeling is that there will not be enough time to ready ourselves for our Vegas trip on Monday July 28. I was planning to use her as a partner in the SCOTCH DOUBLES .. looks like I now need a partner!

I will only be staying the one night .. have to leave on Saturday! I look forward to the get together and Saturday breakfast sounds GREAT!

See all of you on Friday .. have a safe trip!

Joe,
Kay will be missed.

You're leaving for Vegas Monday?  Will you be flying?  If so, what airlines?  The reason I ask is my flight out of Raleigh Durham has a stop and it is Vegas.  It would be funny if it was the same flight.

Also, if Toma doesn't mind sharing and you don't find a partner I'd be honored to partner up with you as well as Toma.

Susan,
You do really need to work on that shyness issue.  One of these years you'll come out of your shell  It will be good to see you again.

Knee update - I bowled the Petersen yesterday, 8 games pain free.  At least the knee was pain free, the ego definitely bruised Next year it is only the Blue Dot.
