The Most Interesting Split You have Ever Had
« on: February 13, 2006, 03:43:17 AM »
My friend left the 2-4-5-7-10 and converted it...
i left the 5-7-10 and took it out with a 6lb ball
i saw a little bot leaving the 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 split(it is a split!!!)
9(and a half)10 where the 9 pin just slided left

What did you leave and did you take'em?

thanks

This isn't really a split but it was one strangle leave. It was 1 4 5 7 8 10.  It was one of those shot that as you walked back you would say to yourself "Nice shoot ace!"

I left the 3,6,8,10 in a sport sweeper, and proceeded to pick it.  My best friend also left the 2,4,6,8,10, yes that's right, all the even pins on the lane.

7-8-10.  Thought it was only possible with a 6lb ball or 5mph speed.  Basically, I left the 8-10 on a pretty weak and babied shot but the 4 pin got clipped by the 2 (I think) and shoved back into the 7 spot.  Unfricken real.  Almost made it too

I hate being a fluffer

I also forgot to say that a woman here left a 2-3!!! yes 2-3 i think she missed left, a pin hit the 5 pin and the 5 pin leaned on the 1 pin... it was pretty unusual

Not a split but had a guy 2 weeks ago take out the 6 9 and leave everything else.  First time I have ever seen a 2 count on the 1st ball.

Somehow left the 4-5-7-10 the other day.  I mean I was playing a weak line but that was a little ridiculous.

Put my spare ball between the 4 and the 5, slid the 4 into the 7, but I actually nicked the 5 pin light enough that it merely slid into the wall without doing so much as to graze the ten pin.

Left a 5-7-8, and picked it up. Definitely one of the worst first balls I've ever thrown.

I left the 3-6-9-4-7 last week.  And I'm a righty.

I have taken out the 3,9 when on a flooded sport shot, i have left the 5-7-10 on pocket hit with an ebonite spider. I never threw the ball again, that ball hit worse than anything else i have ever owned.

1-5-7-10

I KNOW IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE, but when you throw your ball as hard as you can with as many revs as you can . . .IT HAPPENS!

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

Saw a 5-6 yr.old open bowling Sat. leave the 7-8-9-10. Yup, every pin on back deck. Then HE PICKED IT UP! Hit between the 7 & 8. 8 pin fell sideways into the 9 which fell into the 10. In slow motion, it seemed. Wish I had a tape of it.

Just spared a 1-7-10 just an hour ago, during open play of course

some old lady a long time ago left the 4 6 7 8 9 10, and then her second shot went through the 8 9 without knocking either over, but simply moving each to the side a lil bit and then the ball fell off the back of the deck, leaving her with a 4- frame...I don't know how heavy her ball was (obviously not to heavy) and her speed is suuuuuuuper slow

And Then...........

I left another 10 pin
