The Pro Advantage

Has anybody ever gotten a ball that they loved, but that was just short of perfect?  Have you ever said to yourself, "Man, if I could get another one of these and drill it with just a little more length, it'd be great."  Then for your higher averages, like 225+ that know what they're doing to begin with, how much more of an advantage would it be to have your own ball rep, any ball with any drilling at your fingertips, and seemingly endless knowledge to be had?  I believe the pros need this because of the excruciating difficulty they already face from week to week on the Tour.  But can you imagine just how much it could elevate someone else's game if they just had the money for it?  Too bad it's not like basketball where you just need a ball and a goal.

Since working in the pro shop, I've gotten two things.  Unlimited resources for an extremely cheap price, and sometimes free, and free practice.  For those of you that don't have either the luxury or the priveledge, can you imagine how much that would boost your game?  Not having to worry about how much it's going to cost, being the main problem.  Being able to have the guy at the counter set up any pin you want for an indefinite time period, bowling until your hand hurts, and being able to hop in the pro shop for a quick sand, polish, or bevel.

Getting to try out different equipment at a bargain price is a definite plus. Some of the ball companies have gotten on board; Ebonite(demo days), Hammer, Brunswick(???) and Storm(???). For a small fee you can try out their newest stuff on the house pattern. It's a great way to pick/choose a ball from their everchanging selection of equipment. Ask your Pro shop to line up a demo days.
free agency it is until i get a better offer.   LMAO

Lol, don't think the boss would do that.  He's way too busy as it is.
