Truly another great job, Ron, with good pictures.

To add to Ron's tips on "feel": another "feel" that might help you achieve the proper hand position on the downswing is a feeling of leading with your ring finger.  That is, your ring finger is closest to the foul line during your downswing.

I think i will make o copy of this for every person that starts asking me how to turn the ball.  Though its not the only, or the easiest way (without a strong wrist) its the best overall. I get tired of ppl (from the old school) asking how i get some much turn, and to be honest i don't have to try. In fact the more i try the harder bowling gets and the less usable rotation i get.  For anybody that wants to see this is action watch PDW, perfect example!

Yea i read that the other day, great stuff.

I have tried it out as well, its great.  Using a ball that is pithced at 0, where as my other equipment it at 3/8in reverse.  0 requires no pressure or squeezing, but im inconsistant at times and tend to squeeze the ball. When i concentrate on not squeezing the release is very clean and revs effortlessly.

I changed my pitches to 3/8" forward after working with Ron and it's made a huge difference in my revs and in my ball speed.

yes... I have as well.  I have gone from 1/4" reverse (at that time I was attempting to get my thumb out quick through pitch... but have realized it actually causes squeezing.. which hurts everything!) to currently 0 pitch.  (1/4" --> 1/8"---1/16"--> 0).  I think my next ball will be either 1/16" or 1/8" forward...

Me too, me too.  I've gone from 1/2 (GASP) reverse to 3/16 reverse and intend to drill my next preciousssss at 1/16 or 0.
