The way a ball is supposed to roll

I was just wondering if someone could answer this.  I put a piece of tape on my bowling ball right above my finger holes.  Im a right handed bowler.  When the ball finishes hoooking where should the tape be?  Should it be bowling on the right side of the ball or the left?

That's a super open ended question.  How much does the ball flare?  What kind of ball is it?  What is your angle of rotation, axis tilt, speed, and revs?

You can learn more about how you roll the ball by putting the tape on your PAP.  That way you can see the effect different hand positions has on the roll of the ball, learn how to change your axis rotation, tilt.

so if a ball was drilled differently the way your ball will hit will also be different?  or will the tape always finish in the same position?  the reason why i am asking this is because tonite i had some people watch me bowl, and they said that my ball rolls weird.  So i took 3 different balls all drilled differently.  one was my ball and 2 were my friends whose span is almost the same as mine.  I put tape on all 3 of the balls and my ball was the only one whose tape finished rolling on the left side of the ball.  They started telling me that my ball was drilled incorrectly. are they right?
