FUN BOWLING / TOURNAMENT FOR ONE DAY.... ANY IDEAS?
« on: June 08, 2004, 12:35:49 AM »
I am helping to organize a one day bowling outing for a very prestegious a 100 person group.  I am looking for ideas to help make it more fun/enjoyable for the group.  No-Taps are common, Doubles, Baker mathces etc etc etc

Is there anything I have missed that may be REALLY fun?

Appreciate the help.

Prizes maybe? Something like, strike on a red head pin and win something? I dont know, just an idea.

a cross-over doubles tournament is fun. You can bowl with as many partners as you want,...just fill out the entry form and charge a couple bucks per enrty.
Bowl 3 games, pay out based on entries,...

You didn't really say what the skill level of the group is.  When I retired, I used the company funds alloted to a retirement party to take everyone bowling (only 40 people though).  The house put on a private "color-rama".  (not sure if it's called the same thing everywhere).  The skill level was varied, but everyone had a good time.  Actually, the skill level was pretty low--toward the end of the three games, we were paying even if the bowler got a spare on the colored pins.
