Southern Nevada USBC allows theft!!
« on: July 07, 2009, 10:35:28 AM »
One of my league's last year our great secretary stole over 9k in cash, we had a meeting with Patty Mc Cune she told us our options and stated our association would press charges against the thief.

The thief is a lane monitor at the nationals can you flipping believe this crap???   Well known among the head honcho's at the tournament, the guy has admitted to stealing the money.

A league member ran into Patty in the last few days, she has since changed her tune and said we have to press charges on this guy. So it is ok for your local association to just wipe there hands of any trouble, I want this to go to court and the guy to at least get probation.

The same guy has a record for being with an underage minor from years ago, I found this on some old court online documents and is listed on the Nevada website for sex offenders. You never know who you are really voting in, I have known this guy for 10 years and never thought of him for what he really is a thief and pervert!!

So wise up southern nevada league members our local association picks and chooses who they will help and screw over!!

Please feel free Patty to answer why you do nothing about it after getting up in front of our league and saying you care about helping us???

I hope the sh1t hits the fan at USBC over this, come on Gene Kanak and help a fellow BR brother out with a lame duck local association.

Barry,

I spoke with a gentleman at USBC National Headquarters in the bonding department. He said he has seen many cases of this. He says that USBC on any level with NOT go after any bowler for theft or any sort of legal charges. His best example and after some time thinking about it, he is very true. This would be like your next door neighbor(USBC) witnessing someone breaking into your house(us the league memebers) and your neigher(again USBC) wanting to press charges. Well USBC and that neighbor have no right to do anything as it didn't affect them directly. USBC is here to govern that rules and regulations are followed. Not that someone goes to jail or gets probation. That is why neither him or Ray will ever be able to hold office again. Roger also will not be allowed to bowl anything every again until that is paid back and we both know he is going to pay it back! So Roger will never bowl again and Ray will never hold office again.

If you would like to go down to Henderson Police Department you can file charges against him on behalf of the league from what I understand. I did want to do it, but with me moving to Florida for a few months I in no way want to deal with the headache if they were to call me back here for anything. I am going down there to get away from all the BS in Vegas right now. So please feel free to go down to Henderson and do what you feel.

George our friend Roger just bowled the 10 gamer at Sunset station last sunday, he went up to my teammate to rub it in some.

Yes me and 2 other league members will be pressing charges by Friday, it is joke nobody tells us that nothing was going to done.

He is not getting away with grand theft, don't care if I get into a fight with him or not over it either.

Gordon currently has paperwork right now at USBC Headquarters with the bonding people. We are trying to get back 50% of the prize fund at this time. Roger will not be fired or let go of at Nationals due to they outsource their employment and he isn't hired by USBC directly. Also he will be allowed to bowl anything that is USBC sanctioned until USBC finishes their investigation, at which time he will have his USBC card revoked until he pays that money back.

I figured that all out but still, they could have cut his hours to nothing and forced him out.

Listen i know the click loves him but what he did is not even close to be OK!!

I am happy to not be in that click and just throw the ball once a week and go home, the click condones what he does and in fact Gordon was with him on Sunday.
