themezz and Lane #1 hype...
« on: April 30, 2008, 09:36:40 AM »
Well along with the multiple individuals that post under T-God's username I think I smell something else that stinks.

Simply put, publicity, whether it be bad or good, always seems to be good for business.

So... themezz is likely just another Lane #1 employee adding to the hype!

I guess he's responsible for BTM readers voting the SuperNova as the best particle ball. Kudos.

That goes to show you what a great guy and how smart Steve is. It's too bad you don't learn from him.

I guess we'll have to spell it out for you.

You say that Lane #1 is trivial and put Steve cook on a pedestal by saying...

Steve could careless about something as trivial as Lane #1 or any posts on Ball Reviews in regards to Lane #1
Yet, you are in here paying more attention to us than you do your own kid. You're doing/acting the complete opposite of how you're putting Steve on a pedestal.

That my friend is a hypocrite..!! Just so you know.

And, btw, what happened to those floor mats..? I kind of miss seeing them at the bottom of your signature. =:^D

T-GOD, themezz, et al, you all need to grow the f#*k up.  I mean, I just don't understand why the constant bickering and catty bullsh!t.

"My ball company is better than your ball company!"

"No, MY ball company is better than YOUR ball company!"

"Oh yeah, well Lane #1 sucks!"

"No way, Brunswick sucks, FOS rules!"

This is the crap everyone on here has to sift through constantly and it is ridiculous.  We are supposed to be adults, but with the way some people talk to other people on here, you would never know it.

Simple formula:  If you don't like somone, don't engage them in conversation, and stay away from them.  Also, if you don't like a company's product, don't buy it, talk about it, or even acknowledge their existance on this planet.  This way you don't come across sounding like some 5 year old who had their candy stolen.  Grow up!

It's immature crap like this that brings this site down in the toilet where it currently resides.  I, for one, would like to see this site come back to where it was a few years ago when it was actually informative and fun to stop by.  I just hope that the people that post on here can start to actually engage in civil discussion, because at the current rate, this site will be shut down within the year.

Ric,
 I'd like to RESPECTFULLY comment,if I may.
Remember that Brunswick used to pour the covers for Lane#1 for quite a long time. From what I can find,it had to have been a good business agreement to last as long as it did.I fully realize that Brunswick could have easily survived without pouring Lane#1 covers, but history speaks for itself.

Excuse me Maine, but why have you've given the Brunsboys another free pass..? No mention of them mocking Lane #1/calling Lane #1 trivial..?

Why is it that they can keep putting us/whoever down and nobody says a word to them..?

If you read the post from top to bottom, you will see that BrunsRico was the first to start throwing mud @ someone. Why don't you go ask the Brunsboys why they do it..?

Please don't point your anger at me because I haven't said a bad thing in this thread. Ric is the one acting like an idiot.

I have given no one a free pass (notice the et al in my thread).  The Brunswick guys are just as guilty as the Lane #1 guys when it comes to acting like a two year old.  I am not giving anyone a "free pass", I just want both sides of the aisle to agree to disagree and be done with it.  Act your age for once for crying out loud.  That goes for EVERYONE who likes to spew garbage, not just the afformentioned.  I just pointed you two out because your name and themezz's name come up more than others, and I was just trying to make a point.  There are plenty of people on both sides that need to mature T-GOD.

You might not have done so in this thread (so you say), but mocking someone and explaining what a hypocrite is (which I'm sure Ric and the rest of know already), and talking down to everyone, shows a real lack of maturity.  And yes, Ric was the one who started with a Lane #1 jab, but why do you respond?  I mean, take my advice from earlier, and just ignore him and be done with it.  There is much to be benefitted from taking the high road.  Getting down in the mud to rumble only makes you look just as foolish as the one who got down there first.

T-GOD, Ric, the thing is, is that I have read many of the threads where both of you have given very solid advice to bowlers out there seeking it.  Both of you have much to offer everyone on this board, especially when it comes to the company that each of you support.

The jabs and mudslinging only work to tarnish your reputations on here, and to the general public, and make people less likely to take your advice in the future.  I hope that both sides see that they each have people who are fountains of knowledge, and I for one would hate to see those individuals not used as a viable resource just because they can't get along.  I will continue to hope that this site can attract more bowling "minds" and become a place where we all can benefit from one another, and not continue to spiral downhill into an internet punchline.

Ric, please get your facts straight before you start mouthing off with wrong info as usual.
quote:
Lane #1 does not nor ever did deal with distributors
Excuse me, but I do recall Cal Bowling carrying Lane #1 stuff a few years back.

Just pointing out another false statement by the ones who want you to believe that everything they say is true, because they don't hide their name and work for a major company, Brunswick. So, whatever they say, it must be gospel.

Snagged again. The truth always prevails..!! Ric, time to hit the confessional with T-God. Just say 10 "Our Fathers" and you're good to go..!! =:^D
