Heres my first attempt at a video.....

I just got some footage with my analog camcorder today and tried to figure out pinnacle. Wow is that stuff confusing!! Anyways, don't laugh at the poor editing, but please feel free to point out anything I'm doing wrong. As in my profile...i'm a no thumber. Be nice...

Edit: first ball in vid is a Thing Returns 2nd is Anomaly and 3rd is Thing Lives.

Yeah Disturbed is pretty sweet.  Good job editing for your first time.  

I'm no professional instructor, but I can tell you that the lack of knee bend will cause you to lose balance and pull up on the shot.  Work on it.  You do throw the ball decent already.  I have a friend that also doesn't use a thumb and he throws it so good that most people dont even realize he doesn't use his thumb.

When i'm bowling league, I always pick an arrow for a mark to hit and that what I focus on. Even if I hit my mark everytime at the arrows, I cant seem to hit the same breakpoint. What should I do to be able to focus on the whole line I want to play?

Thanks for the advice! I usually dont angle my body with the line I wanna play. My body is usually facing straight towards the pins. I will give this a try. Thing is, when I stare down my target at the arrows...its hard to look down the lane to see if I hit the breakpoint. If I try to focus on both, I miss my mark at the arrows. Any suggestions?

No comment on the bowling .. your video shots got some good results .. if you are comfortable and get good results .. what else can you ask? If you are looking to be Pro take your video to a COACH!

I think your VIDEO was great! Had plenty of shots (even misses) and used different balls! Great. I have only one suggestion there .. showing the ball is fantastic idea .. some people like me don't recognize the ball .. identifying it would be perfect!

GREAT JOB on the video (including the music!).

Joe, thanks for the compliments! I tried to get alot of angles and throw some different equipment. I didnt just keep the good shots and throw out the misses b/c thats why I posted...so you all can see if I done anything different whan I miss. I had all intentions to list what the balls were in the video, but forgot before I created the final product. Just to clarify now: 1st ball was Thing Returns...2nd ball was Anomaly...3rd ball was Thing Lives.

trig, thats a good question b/c I have no idea. I can get way more revs if I desire, but I have decided less is more and like to play a little staighter in league rather than crank the he11 out of it and cover every board. I will post a new topic to see if people can calculate the rev rate seen in the vid.
