A little help please....

A friend of mine wants a new ball. He is looking for something that will react similar to his Too Hot. It is drilled RH, pin above ring, cg kicked out and a small weight hole. He throws med. speed and low revs. He uses the Too Hot on everything and has success with it. What other balls out there are similar to the Too Hot?? No specific company is preferred.

Rock,

In the Buzzsaw line, you might go with the XL or Viper, and the Silver Diamond with the right layout, and surface prep could work.  My choice, if I had to pick just one; the XL.

Thanks Saw Mill, only one problem...he fits the classification of all bowlers worldwide........CHEAP!! He will probably get something used and not want to invest any more than $20 bucks into it. I mean I got the guy a VooDoo about 3 months ago and the layout on the ball was way too aggressive for him, however he only plugged the thumb to change the span because he didnt wanna spend anymore money. Now he is complaining that the VooDoo is too much ball!!

Tell him to try sanding the Voodoo to 1200-1500 grit, and polish.  That should tame the ball down enough, that way he can save his $$ to buy a Saw later.  He should consider a different layout, but for the price, sanding and polishing would be "cheaper".
