Okay, I'm sure at some point someone has dropped this idea, but I'm going to put it out there anyway. After watching the League of Ordinary Gentlemen, I think this could work. I think bowling, or should I say the PBA, needs a reality show.

    This could work for several reasons, first and foremost, because they can snag the non-bowler and get them to watch. A person who does not bowl does not want to sit through 10 frames of watching two people they don't know bowl... BUT!!! If they watched what went on behind the scenes first, saw what these guys went through, got to know these guys personally, and the backstage drama, the non-bowler would now have a vested interest in the game. Bowling would develop heros and villans. Bowling needs something else besides bowling

    This could actually bring some integrity to the sport. When non-bowlers see that these professionals are not just beer-guzzling, smoking, imbeciles; it could help turn the tide. People don't disrespect bowling, they disrespect the bowler!

    Let's be honest here, why would a non-bowler watch the PBA. The bottom line is they won't. You can say they might for the competition, but they will not sit through 10 frames of repetitve bowling. My point is, with the given popularity of the reality show, this could be bowling's chance to put itself back into the mainstream of sports by offering the viewer a unique window through the eyes of the professionals. Anyway, just my Friday night brainstorm, post your thoughts!!!

To be Politically Correct in this society I feel we should change the term "House Hack" to "One House Wonder". It will make alot of losers feel much better about themselves!!!
