I just bought a zone classic from Laufaye and asked him before I bought if the mass bias-cg were in line and his exact quote was "they are basically in line--maybe a 1/2 inch off".  So I figured that was close enough to not be a problem.  The ball comes today and it is 1 1/2" right!!  Basically impossible to drill w/o a weight hole.  I would not have bought this if the question was answered correctly from the get go.  Here is a pic of the ball.  Please be honest on this forum or it may come back to haunt you.

I don't like weight holes.  I don't care if you say that they don't hurt the ball.  That isn't the point.  If the cg was kicked right 1 1/2" then say it.  That is the point of the email.  If I put the mass bias right of the thumb and the pin above the fingers, I WILL need a weight hole even if I drill the ring finger 5" deep.  The point of this post was not to see IF I need a hole, it was to complain that the specs on this ball were misrepresented.

Yeah man that thing is off by a ton but I would just ask him for a refund or sell it.

don't have a scale but i pay a local pro shop 5 bucks to check me.  I would have to drill a lot of balls to justify paying for a scale and also would need the 1350 in cash to buy one.
