Good Medium/Heavy Oil Ball?
« on: June 01, 2004, 08:25:59 AM »
Hi everyone! Yes another ball question from me! I just got myself a job today!!! YAY! Now that I will have some cash I am looking for a medium/heavy oil ball. I like Lane 1 but, dont wanna spend that much on a Uranium( not trying to start anything).  I want something to really open up the lane. I was thinking a X Factor Reloaded or Element Au 79. I am open to all other suggestions. All help is appreciated. Thanks. Kyle

If looking to open up the lane, perhaps an Apocalypse would do the trick, or maybe wait a bit for the Hammer Deal, it's supposed to be pure skid/flip.  Or, another possibility could be the Phenom Unleashed

If you want a good ball to open up the lanes with, get a Track Animal Untamed. Out of box it will tend to roll a little soon, but put a light coat of Magic Shine on it and watch it bounce off of the dry.

LOL, I know what you mean Ex. I polished my super freak though and it killed its reaction. Any ideas? Kyle

WOW....I cannot believe I actually typed that....IT IS CORRECTED!!!

Kyle,
Polishing a Super Freak is a bad move. The high load particle coverstock and the early rolling core coupled with polish......that is just kind of contradictive. The Super Freak was designed with heavy oil, and early roll in mind...the polish offsets that and just does not work. Had a friend that did the same thing to his, and the ball was useless that way.

The Untamed was designed with skid/flip and opening up the backends in mind. I am convinced that Track puts the coverstock on most of the stuff that they do (by coverstock I mean grit, smoothness etc..) because that makes it so easy to tweek.
