Calling Jim King!!!

Okay, this post goes out to Jim King of Bowling This Month. I read the magazine every month and I would really like to see you guys perhaps add an article from a reader. Look around this board, there are some really well thought out posts around here. I personally think there are alot of people who could contribute an article, pick one every month and publish it. That would serve two purposes, a. gives your magazine a unique contribution and B. It keeps people reading and buying the magazine hoping to get an article published. Anyway, I just had an article published in a newspaper and I thought it was pretty exciting. I'm sure Bones would be published...LOL... but there are others on here too who are worthy. Well thanks for listening...

To be Politically Correct in this society I feel we should change the term "House Hack" to "One House Wonder". It will make alot of losers feel much better about themselves!!!

Sir,

  I have actually written and submitted a couple and was not selected. We need to get into a big debate as a community somewhere to stir things up to find answers instead of waiting for the heavens to open up and solve all bowlings problem with the status quo.

  I would love to write articles for the local newspaper or anywhere.... I might start a bowling blog.. that sometimes gets some interest.... Anyone interested in joining in on s blog??

I know how you feel, I love to write. I wrote an article to Sun-sentinel (our local Miami paper) about attending a Fins game and how I thought it was rediculous that the home team was boo'ed by so-called fans... The Sports editor called me two weeks later and they ran it in the Sunday sports section. I couldn't believe it. It was my first attempt at submitting an article so I was surprised. Anyway, thought I'd question Jim because like I said, there are some really great points of view on this board that are worthy of being published. and yes, a blog sounds cool.

We are always interested in technical articles, if you have something to offer that is new and not thoroughly covered by our other writers. Feel free to submit away. As for editorials, we sometimes run articles by non-coaches or people not employed in the bowling industry, especially if they have a new "take" on a topic.
