Last night we FINALLY bowled the last night of my winter league. It was position round and roll off night. Well, we are in second and bowling against the first place team. If we take all 4 points then we win the second half by 2. If we take 3 out of 4 we tie, so on and so forth. Well, we end up taking 3 out of 4 meaning we have to bowl a 4th game against them in a tie breaker roll-off. We end up winning by 11 pins. So we are second half champs. We now have to bowl the team that won the first half. Mind you we lost to them in the first half position round as we finished second that half to them. Well, we are bowling and I am the only one bowling well. When it was all said and done, we lost by 6 pins!!! I bowled 35 pins over with a 212 game. Everyone else was at least 20 pins under. We were so close!! Oh well, there's always next year.

I know how you feel. Our trios team won the first half, but finished second for the other. I shot 279 + 225 in the rolloff, but we lost both. I'm just as much at fault because my average took a steady dive most of the second half. We never should have needed the rolloff. It does stink to get that close and fall short.
