Title: This time of the year

Anybody else notice this?

-Bowl well at the beginning of the season
-Get stuck in a rut in Nov/Dec (Holidays, same people every week, weather, etc.)
-Get new ball(s)
-Start to bowl completely average for the entire month of January
-Tournament time!!!! Bowl your ass off
-Excited to bowl every time
-Keep bowling well
-Season over too early

I hate the middle of the season!

Every freaking year... started out shooting high series on my league with a 669 (not a high average league,) now I am struggling to maintain a 180 average on that league. Shot my high game of 277 on my other league at the start, and barely carry a 170 average now.
