This type of question gets asked
« on: February 09, 2013, 11:16:54 PM »
a million times, but I still have to ask it. To all who have thrown the Hammer Black Widow Pearl, what ball out there now, would be very close in comparison? I did not pull the trigger and buy one when the were still in production and have always loved the look they gave on the lanes. I wish Hammer would bring it back for a limited run. I they they would still sell. Any thoughts?

Ebonite Innovate?  The core is a little weaker, but the reaction characteristics are close.  With BluePrint you should be able to get the numbers close to what the BWP had.

I think all of Hammer's current line, with the exception of the Vibes, are too strong.

I had a 718a drilled exactly the same as my widow pearl and honestly , i didn't have to change a thing. Been throwing the 718 for over a year now and never missed a beat. As fair as the numbers go I'm clueless that's my drillers job.
Same drilling same result both were box finish!

I found what I was looking for before I had to look through the Track equipment... options are always good.
