Anyone have any thoughts on what may be in the current Brunswick or DV 8 lineup that is similar to the Eruption Pro?

Strike King or Diva/Diva pearl

Melee would be nearly identical, and the Dude would be similar, though a bit weaker.

diva pearl is way closer than the dude or diva. the e-pro has a pretty big back end movement

Diva will be stronger overall IMO.
Diva Pearl still a touch stronger, hard for me to suggest a pearl to replace a solid.
Reason I chose Dude is the similar cover and differential. I don't see either as a super strong ball, especially in oil.

I've gotta side with Nick here . . the Diva Pearl may be ok, but replacing a solid with a pearl generally isn't the best way to go. Solids also usually take better to surface changes. The Melee would be the closest in terms of shape, but Dude would be the closest hook potential but smoother, the original Diva is more hook and a slightly different shape, and the Diva Pearl may be a similar shape, but with more length and a cleaner, sharper breakpoint. From what I've seen though, the Diva is quite a bit more sensitive than the Eruption.

Hmmmm....Inferno, Absolute Inferno, Vapor Zone...ALL pearls with surface that reacted, well like solids...

Lol hey now, I just said solids usually take better to surface changes, not that pearls couldn't or wouldn't . . and I've had many a sanded pearl in my day, a Vapor Zone included, and yes, it did act like a solid ;D

Just saying (: do not stay antiquated in ones thought process with looking at ball motion
Eruption Pro cover is basically the same as the Arson Low Flare

Of course ;) That's why I said generally . . I favor watching actual ball reaction over numbers and makeup anyway. Seen many a ball that was moderately different than another by the numbers, but they reacted very similarly.
That new LT48 might actually be a decent match too, but it might be a bit too smooth and weak.
