Aussie record goes twice in 2 weeks
« on: February 23, 2005, 09:59:33 PM »
A fortnight ago a fellow called Jason Douglas(handy bowler from AUS lefties turf, Queensland) went 297-299-266(11 x 1 open mind you!) for 862. Just a couple of hours ago multiple aussie rep Anthony Flynn ripped out 297-290-300- EIGHT-EIGHTY-SEVEN!!!!!!  yowie!!! how long till down unders first 9?

ps of course this 887 is the highest series on Aussie soil, Paul Trotters 2002 world cup 896 was bowled in Latvia for the highest set by an Australian bowler

Just practice putting on concrete to get used to our greens and you'll be fine!

That's funny most of the aussie golfers who are big time strikers of the ball are known as if only they could putt there would be no stoppin em.

To mind is Allenby, Applebee is a great striker, however Craig (Doral champ) is known as quite a putter except in the last round of majors, Norman was not a slouch either on the greens.  Oh yeah Baddely not bad either.

Ok if only Allenby could putt, people would say "Woods who?".  Oh yeah, Geoff Ogilvy not much of a roller either.

Australia home of record setting Billy Dunk!

Your bowlers are doing pretty good lately but there new bowling balls don't seem to be very  broken in.  I hate when those things leave a pin or two in a game.  pieces a crap!
