The release of this is extremely limited. Only about three major cities are holding the film for now. I've gotten into independent film a little in the past few years and yeah i hate waiting for a certain film to come to your town. What's cool, though, is that if the film is really "underground" enough, you'll actually meet the people who produced the movie.

Milwaukee has a couple of "art film" houses, and being the home of the USBC< I'm hoping that one of them will decide to pick the flick up.

Until they do, all I can do is wait I guess.

Well, I guess it won't be setting any records for opening sales for a documentary.  What, they only made one copy?  If I have to, I'll wait for the DVD, assuming they make more than one of those, too. Where are the art houses to watch in S FL?

knowing the USBC they probably wont pick it up, for they are trying to do everything backwards so far.....

I was lucky enough to be invited to a screening of the movie the week the tour was in Dallas. I am on the Dallas Board and we attend along with many of the tour players, proprietors and Womens board. As stated it follows the first or second year of the new PBA. This is the season they began pushing the road to the championship and Pete's crotch chop and wrestling antics. It really shows the decline of the old and coming of the new. With Chris Barnes twins and new family life. They visit with Dick Weber, which now means even more to us in the bowling world. I would not say a two thumbs up from the average person. However, if you love bowling, then a must see. It is interesting to see the other side of the story. The push by new management/ownership to take the PBA in a new direction. The temper tantrums, frustrations and the grind of the road, too. I think it reveals allot about the personal side and the hardships that go along with it. Wayne Webb is on his final quest, while Pete and Chris are up and coming stars, and how the new guys push this from behind the scenes. Walter is being himself and was not as memorable for me as others. If you get the chance and love bowling go see it. Personally I want a copy of the movie poster. Have my reasons, but am looking to get hold of several of the bowling movie posters for a decor I am dreaming up for a business.
