The knee is near 100%.  I am teaching in a bungalow with the raised foundation, there is some give to the floor reducing the stress on the knees.  Up until last week I was only bowling 1 night a week.

Last week I was asked to join a Monday night scratch league.  I don't really like 5 person teams, but agreed to check it out.  I was also asked to sub on Wednesday at 6 PM.  I bowled both plus my 9PM Wednesday league and the knee did great.  It was a little tight Thursday at work, but not bad.

I have been struggling with getting the ball far enough down the lane before it would take off and it didn't matter which ball I used.  The Whirl Wind almost got far enough.  I had a Fury Pearl and Bash sitting undrilled at home.  I asked Rusty and Karl, my pro shop guys, which would be the best to get drilled up.  They thought the Bash was the one that would go longest with some back end reaction.  I dropped the ball of Saturday.

Rusty suggested putting the pin over the bridge, knowing very little about ball layouts, I said go for it.  I picked it up tonight and used it in league.  It was one of my better nights so far in this young season, 179-206-176.  Game 1 I was trying a few different lines and didn't 100% trust the ball.  Game 2 was clean.  Game 3 I had 3 splits and an open in the 1st frame due to my own stupidity - I refused to hit my target on either ball  Anyhow, as I get used to the ball and trust it, I think it will serve me well, and it is soooo pretty .
