middle finger
« on: July 26, 2008, 07:49:09 AM »
I was watching a telecast that pb3 was on when he lost to sean rash and randy pedersen mentioned that he was practicing with his middle finger and thumb in the ball. What does this help and does this help alot? The only thing i can think of is either muscle memory in the finger itself or just working on your straight game since you may not be able to put as much on the ball compared to using two fingers.

I feel bad for the bowler''s defenceless equipement when the bowler is not bowling up to par. . . .don''t you?

Give it a shot and see what you find.  Nothing like first-hand experience.

Notice that Mr. Petersen never said why. He leaves many of his explanations incomplete in that fashion, which makes him a less than good "expert" commentator at times.
