Thumb help
« on: April 10, 2005, 11:38:32 PM »
Recently, I cut a piece off my thumb and evenyually had to go to the ER for help. I was instructed to leave a pressure bandage on for ten (10) days. I didn't know that I was given bad instructions because it turns out I had a reaction to the bandage. Now my thumb is sloughing off skin little by little. There's a few exposed areas similar to having blisters.

I'm going to open my thumb hole up for to accomodate the residual swelling. Then I plan to go old school Mark Roth with the Skin Patch and then cover it with the new skin-patch tape. Does anyone have advice that might help otherwise?
