strange strike

The other night in league saw a strange looking strike. He was left handed. He hit the 1 - 2 pocket and the 5 pin is standing. The headpin comes flying off the wall and takes out the 5. Would you call that a "weak power ball"?

happens all the time.. usually happens when a person with lots of speed thorws a ball with little turn and ball deflects of the head pin to leave the 5 but comes off the wall to carry it

Granted I have seen stranger strikes but first time ever seeing that one. Even seen the ol' ball hit the 4 - 7 only strike 3 times. Been in and around bowling for about 35 years. Cobb no worry it wasn't mean.

ive burred my ball in the 2-4 every once in awhile and carry... never carried a 4-7 pocket though lol

I've been getting lucky in league the last two weeks I've had strikes miss the pocket and have the pins fall back to the front taking out the 1-2-4 pins looked like crap but ill take it.
