Where on the lane do you Target ?
« on: September 14, 2011, 01:00:51 AM »
Just a question to ask among ballreviews users.

Where do you bowlers target on the lane?  Dots, Arrows, Pins, Breakpoint?

I do understand that moving you eyes down lane will help to get you ball more length.
But I have heard from different coaches and PBA players , different things.  So I assume that its what best works for the individual.

But with the centers today that I bowl in, it seems that there is less oil ,and or the balls are just getting stronger.  That targeting your breakpoint or around 40 feet seems to help these days.

I'll target anything out there, IF it lets me hit the pocket. The arrows are the easiest, for me, but I've looked at all of them at some point. Heck, I've even picked out dark spots on the lane that weren't even intentional markers.

If it's in the right spot to allow me the proper tajectory to get the ball to the pocket, I'll use it

I target the arrows, wish I could target the breakpoint better, but my house doesn't have the miscolored boards at the breakpoint, so it's too tough to tell down there.
