The only ones really complaining are the hard core bowlers. Most bowlers are not even aware of the proposed change. Just like when the speed limit was reduced to 55 mph, the ones complaining the loudest were the truckers. Most of the rest of us said oh well, what are you going to do. I think it was Nevada that tried to ignore it and the Fed threaten to take away federal funding for it's highways.
Lane changes and monitoring the changes and record keeping takes money away from everyone. Ball changes get money into bowling and cost little to the USBC.
If the bowling companies really want to get this not to pass, all they would have to do is pull there sponsorship in the PBA in protest.
