USBC & Ball Companies

Has any ball company actually supported USBC's proposed changes?  If not, then why is this still an issue?  I mean if 99.9% of the bowling industry and its bowlers are against these proposed changes, then why aren't the proposed changes withdrawn already?

Unfortunately, I disagree;  I think they will pass.  In what little the USBC has put out in their FAQs and other articles on bowl.com, they seem to be taking the position that if CG positions and balance holes *don't* matter, then there would be no harm in approving the proposals, whereas if CG positions and balance holes *do* matter, then they need to be regulated and/or banned to moderate scoring.

So they're pulling the ole reverse psychology out of their bag of tricks.  What a bunch of morons.

Because they don't care what anyone else has to say, otherwise they would have done surveys as to what should be done, even before the proposals.

The only ones really complaining are the hard core bowlers. Most bowlers are not even aware of the proposed change. Just like when the speed limit was reduced to 55 mph, the ones complaining the loudest were the truckers. Most of the rest of us said oh well, what are you going to do. I think it was Nevada that tried to ignore it and the Fed threaten to take away federal funding for it's highways.

Lane changes and monitoring the changes and record keeping takes money away from everyone. Ball changes get money into bowling and cost little to the USBC.

If the bowling companies really want to get this not to pass, all they would have to do is pull there sponsorship in the PBA in protest.
