Alot of viewers, not many replies???
« on: September 19, 2004, 12:22:42 PM »
I just noticed there are alot of views on the subjects, but no very many replies. Does everyone no want to give advice as much as before? Or are many of us not as interested in the subjects? I know I have some questions out there on subjects I need help with, but not many responders.

Just makes me say hmmmmm...

Fatboy,

I used to post alot, but now just lurk when I need to pass some time.  Too many people telling me how to run my business, how to price my products, how "wrong" I am about bowling balls, lots of rude people, lots more, don't want to name any names.

Not EVERYONE has something to SAY.  Some JUST like to READ.

Sometimes a PREVIOUS poster has ALREADY said what others were THINKING.

I used to post alot of solutions but have refrained due to others suggesting there were too many people responding. So now I lurk and show up less and less. The same questions go round and round. There have been so many great responses to many great questions. To rehash the same issues is redundant and quite frankly boring.

Same here . I used to answer a lot of IM's and such but when I get responses to my advice like "that's dumb, you're an idiot" or "shove the BUzzsaw up yours...they suck"...I tend to stop.

People who know me know that I will answer any question they may have for me. Just drop me an email or IM.

Peace out boys and girls!

Here's the problem with not getting responses to legitimate questions.  It's not a discussion forum then.  I have posted a number of threads and got little info. and I know there are people out there that know and could add quite a bit.   Using IM or PM is just that private and you're not getting the info. that could be shared with everyone.  Got a problem with a user just block them very easy to do.

There are everything from beginners to very advanced players that can use and share info.  I prefer to take the high ground and use this forum for what it was intended.

I've been AWOL for about the past 6 months, posting wise.  It seems to me the majority of the posters think everyone has a crystal ball that we just gaze into to find the perfect ball and drilling for them.

Now, about the only time I answer a post is if its from someone I know.

Most of these posts do not have an answer.  The best I could hope to do is make a wild guess.  Just would hate to make a suggestion and have someone waste $200 on a ball.

I enjoy reading just about every post here. It's just that many times what I have to say has already been said by someone so why repeat it??? I realize that to do so is to add another voice, but to me why repeat it??
