Wrist Supports
« on: May 11, 2009, 06:11:08 AM »
I am currently using the extended Pro Release and am interested on trying something else. Have noticed the pro women using other supports such as Vise, Robbie's Revs I and III and the Brunswick Power Coil. Any difference in these? Looking for more revs, more power. Any others you are personally familiar with that you would recommend? Why?  Thanks.

I have used most of the others and the Extended Pro Release....(no longer approved for the pro tour).

They all work the same and as far as comfort in those types of Firm metal braces I think the Pro Release is as comfortable as any.

I currently use a single position Mongoose Pro Lifter or Robby's but if I wanted an adjustable and was not on the pro tour I would make no changes.

All the lift and hook you will need!  Roll on!

Thanks for your reply. Why not approved for the pro tour? Men's? Women's?

I suspect they're no longer approved simply because they didn't pay the registration charge.

I have had all the braces being discussed here. The Robbys Revs I is my favorite of the bunch by a long shot. It's most like the Pro Release Extended but I found it to be more secure, offer you a little bit more cup if you needed it and was easier to adjust.
