Tim Mack and Exemption
« on: February 27, 2004, 01:17:43 AM »
Does he have a REALISTIC chance of making the tour? He is in 63rd right now, about 9000 points out of 50th place. Do you think we will be seeing the big mack truck taking on the rest as an exempt player next year?

On another level... who is outside the 50 that you would really like to see make it? My pick would be randy pederson... great guy and a hell of a bowler. And ide also like to see jeff lizzi scrape in.. he is 47th now.. ide like to see him stay there...

Just my 2c

good luck and high scoring

That was back when he hadnt cashed twice and couldnt just rock up and bowl the pba events. Winning that got him into that weeks tournament and next weeks aswell... but beyond that... nothing

good luck and high scoring

Mack made the round of 32 this week, so he'll pick up a few extra points, compared to some of the other guys (especially righthanders ) just below the cut.

Seems to me that Tim has three ways to make it to next year's tour:

1) Win one of the last few tournaments;

2) Finish high in the World Championship (double points);

3) Finish in the top 8 (it is 8 spots, isn't it?) in the Tour Trials.

One way or the other, I think we'll be seeing Mr. Mack out there next year.

I'd like to see Dave D'Entremont make it - Good guy from my hometown (mostly) who's hovered right around 50th for most of the year.
