Linds footwear and Lane Master/Legends bowling balls will be illegal to use in all PBA tournament competition beginning 10/1/08.

I would be willing to bet it's because they didn't pay their fees.  It seems that's always the reason.  I went and bowled in a Regional, and has used one of those Master Wristers ever since I started bowling competitively and they said no, because Master didn't pay...LAME

Most like the case I don't know what a grass roots registration cost, but I do know its $140,000 to have a full registered product on tour. That's a lot of bowling balls for a smaller company.

Hard to believe Linds would not cut loose with the money, at least for the regional level. I guess it is time to dust off the old Dexter 5s or try a different brand. Really bites though.
