Pick your own coverstock and core?
« on: April 09, 2007, 06:20:31 AM »
If you could pick the coverstock from one company
and combine it with the core of another company.

Which ones would you put together? and for what
condition?

Some ideas of mine - not killer balls but things that came to my mind during the last 2 years:

Storm's Accu-Tread pearl on the Twin-V core (original or inverted) from the Fire series.

Brunswick's PK17 with some "true" core (e.g. BVP bell core - a modernized Green/Black or Red/Black Monster)

Brunswick's mild Particle Pearl from the Plum Pearl Power Groove with the old Monster doorknob core, e. g. from the SmashR.

Or Haha entertain this:

The Total NV core wrapped in High Octane...oooooooo

with a person shouting out about a Robo Core in a Legends/Lanemasters cover is another great idea, but there are so many good ones it is ridiculous. I think any strong core in the notoriously strong Legends/LM covers would be one hech of a ball, I would really love to see one of those thrown down a flooded lane.

The Equation core w/ Powerkoil 18, the Blue Phantom core w/ M802 Friction Plus, Black Phantom core w/ Monsoon, the X-Factor core w/ Activator, Inferno core w/ GB 10.7, and The Chaos core w/ Soaker Particle.

Also, the core from the Track Animal with the Equation cover.

I to hate when someone beats me to the punch.

I would also like to see the robo core with the animal cover, or maybe the robo core with the strongest int-diff they can get with the normal gp2 cover. The lightload version was strong but the normal gp2 cover was awsome and if the power of the robo core was something like .04???? that ball would have been untouchable.

Just remake the Inferno.

The Inferno weight block with PK 18.
