Title: Too Much Slide

Is there anything i can do to decrease my slide in a wood house that just had everything resurfaced? Used a #1 sole w/the spiked heel backwords on my sst6s, used the least slide and sole on my abs'. Getting the sole wet was the only way i control my slide. Even wore a lefty's shoe on my slide foot and was still sliding. Only way i got close to not sliding was wearing my steeet/tennis shoes which the house didn't like. Any ideas besides consitantly wetting the sole?

I don't really know what else you can do.

We had a house here about 15 years ago that resurfaced the approaches and it turned out they used the wrong urethane finish. They were like wet ice! You could hardly stand up on them. I just slowed my approach way down that week. The next week they had a new coat fof the proper urethane put on the approaches and they were fine.

If they are that slick for everyone at your house the proprietor will take take of it because of liability issues. They may settle down after a week or so. The house might have them scuffed lightly (add a little surface ). Or they may have the company that resurfaced come back in and adjust them.
