Fingers swelling during league
« on: December 31, 2008, 03:18:18 AM »
I'am having a problem with my fingers swelling in the middle of my league. The first two games my fingers fit perfect in my inserts, but by game three I have to twist and push my fingers into the inserts to throw the ball. I really don't want to go up a size on the inserts due to the fact that I will lose the feel of the ball in the first two games. I thought about drilling an identical ball like I throw with larger inserts for the last game, but since I own 14 different balls and use them all- it would be a chunck of money to double up. It's just my fingers- my thumb never bothers me. Anybody out there ever had this problem?

Get a glass or pitcher of icewater from the bar.Not only will it help keep you hydrated during bowling, but you can keep your bowling had wrapped around the glass which will keep the swelling down.
Just be careful not to spill it----lol.

I could recomend a few things.

1.)Try to cut down on salt in take during the day of bowling.

2.)Drink water while u bowl not pop (don't know if any of this applyies).

3.)Get bigger inserts and only glue in the sides. Fold up the paper from bowlers tape and put it behind ur grips.
