RedNeck, it's a great product.  Saves continually changing/adjusting tape, gives a clean consistant release.  The only problem is that some folks, at first, will show a bit of irritation on the back of the thumb.  But that quickly goes away.

(note to self - order some new carpets).

RedNeck: I second Rag's comments. I've been using the carpets for a few years now, and I can't see going back.

Toma, actually I haven't used them for a while.  Since I only bowl at the one house any more I haven't had an issue with thumb size changes and haven't needed them.  For sure though, if/when I shoe up for tournamants again I'll have some in my equipment.

Red,
That Ron guy from Ron C's Magic Carpet is a heck of a nice guy.
If you will email him and ask for a free sample to try he will send you one.
Make sure you put Magic Carpet in the subject line.
His email address is rclifton@triad.rr.com

I know he is headed out of town to do a clinic up in Cincy so it may take him a few days to get the samples off.

I love the carpets, can't even imagine throwing the ball without it. This was the only product that taught me to keep my thumbhole tight, as i always had too loose of a thumbhole, if it was tight I never came out.

The free sample idea sounds great. I'm fussy about my thumb holes and can never get a good, consistent, clean release from all of my equipment even though the specs and pitches are identical. Have to try one of these out on my Mayhem.... if the pro shop ever gets it in....

Just so you know, MagicCarpet IS Ron Clifton lol. You may want to just PM him and ask, or get the addy from him again.
