« on: February 18, 2008, 03:09:45 PM »
What is the best most aggressive heavy oiler on the market? Is the Storm Special Agent, Cell, Bite, Resurgence? Out of those mentioned, list them in order from best to worst in opinions of backend on heavy oil.

The Resurgence in my opinion is the most predictable/strong heavy oiler out right now. Never seems to get "jumpy". Very predictible strong roll on the Resurgence...

Do you think the Storm Special Agent is a true oiler?

In its stock form, 2000 grit, for the average rev, average ball speed bowler, No. For higher rev people, for rev dominant bowlers, or if the ball is taken down to the 600 -1000 grit rangem then possibly.

Here are some balls that can, in my opinion, handle heavy oils, for the average rev, average ball speed bowler:

Visionary AMB Centaur particle
MoRich LevRG
Lane#1 BuzzBomb
Roto-Grip Quest
Lanemasters Conqueror (Terminator, when the polish is removed)
Brunswick Mammoth
Columbia Resurgence

There are several others from other companies that if sanded duller can do the job also.

Which will hook on more/longer oil, Buzz Bomb or the Resurgence?
