I've been watching streaming coverage from news9.com (KWTV) out of Oklahoma City tonight.  The good news is that they are reporting no major injuries so far.  But, the tornadoes themselves looked really nasty from what they showed live.

Apparently more storms tomorrow...

Correction from earlier- the news was updated to show that there have been some fatalities.

There were 2 tornado just north of Earlham and south of State Center in Iowa. Roof damage of one house and limbs of trees in that area. Ahead of that storm 80 mph winds. No deaths nor people hurt.

According to maps tomorrow is going to be worse for NE Oklahoma majorily. NE Oklahoma and southern Missouri. Dunno about up north. I didn't get anything but some sprinkling here, but the night is still young.

I watched 9's stream all day, and that F5 was CRAZY. The F3 and F4 that hit Shawnee was pretty wicked, too. If I were off work me and a couple guys would make a trip down to help. I didn't get to help with the Joplin aftermath, unfortunately.

Anyway, gotta stay buckled down cause it's still gonna get worse. Once that dry line moves all hell will break loose.

I just saw another map for where the dry line is going. It's backed up, delaying the moving out of the system. At 3 PM tomorrow, the dry line is going to be right on top of OKC. Right back into the same situation.

I live on the NW edge of OKC and no damage today, but tomorrow looks like the odds could be worse. We jsut had our roof totaled and otehr damage by a hail storm April 26th I believe it was.

Good luck, guys. Keep your heads down as best you can.

Just read this:
http://www.weather.com/news/tornado-central/severe-weather-great-plains-20130519

Sounds horrific. can't imagine going through such violence. Seeing the videos is nothing compared to being in it. God bless!

This would probably be the biggest reason why I left the midwest. I miss it, but I don't miss the tornadoes (though I have the hardest time explaining what a tornado is to people here in NorCal, let alone how much damage it causes compared to an earthquake).

I have relatives in Edmond, Midwest City, Del City, hell, just about any town east of OKC out to Muskogee. I missed this yesterday, so I'm spending all day making phone calls.

Around 4:00 pm I may be wrong on the time. A tornado hit Moore,Oklahoma major damage including a school with kids. My prayers and thoughts with the town of Moore. If you have Weather Channel tune to it.

Oolagah just got nailed, too. Don't know the extent, but been watching this thing from Claremore. Everybody was panicking about it, and it looks like there's a major storm brewing down south and following 44 up.
