Total Inferno or No Mercy???
« on: January 29, 2007, 03:44:17 PM »
In between of this balls, what is the best for heavy oil...

Please i need a little help with this. Right know i only have the Absolute Inferno for the house shot (38 feet). but in other lanes i have problems because the lane have a lot of carrydown and the absolute is weak  for that condition, so whisch one is the best? for Heavy OIL!!

Thanks.

PD: and for the dry lane conditions? dry to medium?

Your comparing apples to oranges here...

..but to answer your question, the No Mercy will run circles around the Total Inferno in oil.

Very true about the Total.  My No Mercy after I hit it with a green pad, is probably one of the best balls I have ever had for oil.  It is a rolly ball and will not overreact.

My personal advice is the NoMercy, but I`m sure both are good balls for the described conditions.

If your basing your decision off of just this thread then you are in for a a wake up call, lol

Bottom line is you don't want a pearl  ball for "heavy" oil.

Not sure how long you been on BR, but please take all response's with a grain of salt.

Most of the guys screaming Brunswick say this all the time..Please check the Brunswick Forum

As for the No Mercy, if your a low tracking player I would stay away for it. All of the high track players I seen with this ball reacts great for them...but for the low trackers the ball is very weak ball.

Look for a nice a particle or solid reactive....

Um the Total is definitely not a pearlized ball. The Absolute IS but not the Total.

Is the Total really a ball for "heavy oil?"

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

Ok you're right. They really don't stress it being a "pearl" ball though.

I think you may not think it is pearl because it isn't factory polished like many pearls are.
