My wife thinks that our home is a revolving door for bowling balls. I don't know why she would think that. After all, over the last 2 1/2 seasons the following balls have taken up residence at one time or another:
Brunswick- Raging Red Fuze, Inferno and Raging Inferno
Ebonite- Primal Instinct
Columbia- Throttle, Big Bully, Icon 300, White Dot and EPX T-1
Lane #1- Cherry Bomb, Black Cherry Bomb, Super Carbide Bomb, Emerald,
Cranberry, Hybrid Dirty Bomb and Golden Nugget
Morich- Weapons of Mass Bias
Track- Super Freak
Hammer- Big Blue Spare
Storm- Barbed Wire, X-Factor Reloaded, X-Factor Ace, Trifecta
and Fired Up
By my count that's 24 kids that have visited my foster home for balls. I take good care of them for the time that they're with me, until they're adopted by someone else. The ones in bold are my current kids. Most get to see from 5-30 games before they go to more more permanent homes, but the Black Cherry Bomb and the Throttle got to hang around for 75 or so games and the X-Factor Ace is working towards that same milestone.
My wife, on the other hand, uses the same ball for 200 or so games and will only reluctantly let me pry it out of her hand with a new toy. (She's partial to the color purple and thinks it's cool that Storm balls are scented so the X-Factor Deuce and now the Paradigm fit the relationship that she requires with her kids.)
Yes, I know I have an illness. But, admitting it is the first road to recovery isn't it?
