Almost happened against me last night in Alabama.

Brother No. 1 had the front 8, then got ferociously tapped in the ninth frame.

Brother No. 2 got the front 10, then left a 4-pin on his 11th ball.

Needless to say, my team did not win the game point.

Nice story but it does not beat Jim and Jeff Lizzo's story. They are identical mirror twins, who both shot 300 games, within minutes of each other, on the same night at the same house, both with Track Sensor II's which had sequential serial numbers. Now that is tough to beat, especially when it gets you the entire back page of Newsday.

Second that with the Lizzo's and to top it off, they are both great guys. Jimmy used to drill all of my stuff when I bowled at Bellerose Lanes in NY when I lived there. Went out of his way to make sure I had the right equipment for my game and wouldn't make a sale if it wasn't right for me. Great pricing, always fair. Sorry to hear that the center closed a few years ago, but I still see them in the front row at the LI Open every year.

SIMILAR THING HAPPENED TO ME AND A TEAMATE A COUPLE YEARS AGO. WE BOTH HAD FRONT NINE AND I GOT UP IN THE TENTH BLASTED THE RACK AND LEFT THE OLD 7-10 SPLIT. MY TEAMMATE FOLLOWED RIGHT UP WITH ANOTHER 7-10 SPLIT IN THE 10TH. WEIRD!

That is pretty cool.  I want to shoot 300 with my brother now .  I wonder if the brother who shot the last of the 300's was more nervous than the first brother?

Don't know if you are aware .. the TWIN BROTHERS you speak of own the PRO SHOP in BABYLON BOWL. Although I've met both of them I don't think either would remember me .. I've never had them drill for me but I've heard said they are both great guys!

My brother and I also almost did it during the state Tournament. I got tapped in the 8th frame, he made it to the 9th before leaving a 10 pin.  I had a higher average but he bowled better which helped carry us to 1st place.

I shot a 300 on my sons birthday, Feb 23. They were born 5 years apart. I know its not as hard as what these guys did but my wife was pissed because I did not get a sub for that night. Then she did not believe me till we bowled on our mixed league.
